Paul Chemetov, Jean Nouvel and other renowned architects have played a part in the design and construction of today’s Saint-Ouen. This tour will reveal some of the various responses in the town to the problems associated with social housing, from the earliest complexes built during the 1950s to the more recent developments of the 1990s and including the tied company housing schemes of the early years of the XXth century. You will be surprised at the diversity of Saint-Ouen’s modern and contemporary architecture.
