Saint-Ouen, a town of 46 000 inhabitants, is situated on the right bank of the Seine, just a stone's throw from Paris and Montmartre.

Its famous Flea Market is one the most visited places of interest to the North-East of Paris, together with the Cathedral-Basilica and national stadium in Saint-Denis "Stade de France", la Villette in Paris and the Air and Space Museum in Le Bourget.

Saint-Ouen also has an historic heritage for the tourist to discover (the castel, the listed maroufle paintings in the Town Hall, etc) and a rich industrial past hightlighted by a circuit, with markers describing the main points of interest across the town.

Saint-Ouen has numerous facilities, places of culturel interest and artists’ studios. Contemporary works of art have been placed in various public areas, and can be visited following the circuit prepared by the Tourist Office.
